Clients
Our clients range from large multinational businesses and household names to medium-sized and smaller niche businesses.
We tend to work with main board directors and senior management and become part of the decision making process at our clients.
Despite playing an important internal role at our clients our experience of working with a range of other businesses means that we can give added value that permanent in-house lawyers cannot give.
We have listed some of our clients to give you an idea of the calibre and range of businesses that we work with and to explain how we have helped these companies.

What they say...
"We have established a long and productive relationship with John Burchill and The Legal Director over the last 4 years or so. When we started working with The Legal Director we had a store portfolio of less than 200 stores and we now have in excess of 450 stores. The Legal Director has provided us with the legal support necessary to help us achieve our growth targets and put in place systems to manage our areas of risk. The flexibility and value for money The Legal Director can provide is difficult to match. We would recommend The Legal Director to any business looking for an alternative, highly professional legal services solution."
Stephen Hemsley – CEO Domino’s Pizza UK & IRL plc
"We required specialist franchise expertise to help us prepare new forms of franchise agreement for use in connection with our international expansion. The Legal Director worked closely with us to devise a strategy to carry out this work and introduced us to the top franchise law firm in the country to help get the work done. John Burchill provided us with the internal expertise we were lacking and co-ordinated and managed the external law firm input. We found it invaluable to be able to contact The Legal Director at any time and really liked their approachable style."
Katina Zinger – Head International Myriad Childrenswear Group
"Mercury Health is a fast growing business involved in complex high value commercial transactions. We do not have a permanent in-house legal capability, however, The Legal Director now fulfills that role for us and works closely with our senior management and our external City law firms. We were impressed that The Legal Director was able to make available to us 4 senior lawyers at short notice to work on our latest key NHS contract bid and have benefited from their expertise at a significant cost saving. We would have no hesitation in recommending their service to other fast growing businesses."
