Key to the success of the management of a businesses' legal affairs is the selection of appropriate external law firms and the efficient management of the relationship with those firms.

We have extensive experience of working with many 'City' law firms and other niche legal firms and have developed close working relationships with individual solicitors within some of those firms.
The Legal Director is in a strong position to be able to use these contacts for the benefit of our clients. We can match our clients specific requirements to a particular solicitor or law firm and the process of preparing appropriate instructions and making sure that the relationship is productive and efficient is a main benefit which many businesses miss out on.
Set out below is a list of firms of solicitors which we work with for our clients. We have no formal association with these firms but we do have strong links and good relationships with some of their partners. This list is by no means exhaustive, however, we would recommend the solicitors referred to below as well as other solicitors from our network of law firms depending on the specific requirements of our clients.
iLaw – iLaw is a London based modern niche law firm made up exclusively of highly experienced commercial lawyers who specialise in technology and intellectual property. The Legal Director has worked with all three of their partners Justin Ellis, Bobby Gill and Mark Culbert.
Field Fisher Waterhouse - FFW is a full service law firm based in the City of London. With 91 partners and over 180 other lawyers they assist a wide range of domestic and international clients, with advice across a full range of commercial legal issues and they are recognised as the leading UK firm in franchising, licensing and distribution law. FFW has a pan European office network and expertise in advising clients in the far east, middle east and the americas. The Legal Director has instructed FFW on a range of franchising issues for its clients including international work and has worked closely with leading partner Mark Abell, Babette Marzheuser Wood, Marcus Turle and David Bond.
Reed Smith – Reed Smith a US law firm with offices around the Globe represents many of the worlds largest companies. Reed Smith established its UK presence on joining forces with UK firm Warner Cranston in 2001 and recently merged with Richards Butler to form a top 20 world law firm. The Legal Director has worked with lawyers from their Birmingham UK office in relation to litigation, corporate and employment law matters. Larry Coltman Partner in litigation, Ranjit Dhinsa Partner in employment and Jane Thomas in corporate all come highly recommended.
Sherrards – Sherrards a 13 partner firm based in St Albans has a client base that ranges from multi national retailers to smaller family run businesses. It can match the services provided by larger London firms but they have a more approachable and supportive style. The Legal Director was introduced to this firm by one of its clients but soon learned about their quality of service and has recommended them to other clients. We have worked with Ian Baker Partner in corporate commercial and Partners Gregory Lunnon and Mark Peters in commercial property.
Osborne Clarke - With an energetic and unstuffy approach, Osborne Clarke is a European law firm that provides business-focused legal solutions. Personally committed to achieving their clients business goals, their lawyers have excellent technical expertise and industry sector knowledge. The Legal Director has worked with Nick Johnson, Partner in marketing and Advertising, Simon Rendell Partner in IT and commercial and Simon Neil in Competition law.

Their client base includes commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, investment funds and institutions. They also advise emerging and closely-held companies and high net-worth individuals.
The Legal Director's contact at Salans is Robert Courtneidge a consultant to the firm and a leading lawyer in the UK in the cards and payment systems arena where he advises on all aspects of consumer finance and the technology behind it. Robert's broad commercial expertise has been useful to The Legal Directors clients on a number of ocassions. 
Whitney Moore - Whitney Moore is a modern business law firm advising domestic and international businesses based in or operating in Ireland The firm has 14 partners and has worked particularly closely with Mark Ryan on commercial and corporate finance transactions.
