We have joined forces with Women in the Law UK to host a General Counsel (GC) Conference this summer.
On 14 June, General Counsel and in-house Lawyers from around the country will be joining the line-up of speakers, including our CEO Kirstie Penk, Dr. Sally Penni MBE, Founder and Chair of WITLUK and Emma Levin, GC of Onebright.
Kirstie will also be joined by other members of the TLD cohort, including Sarah Clark, newly appointed
Chief People and Transformation Officer and Rachel Webb Wiles, Client Legal Director.
Attendees will be able to join five sessions throughout the day, on topics such as the lessons to learn from being a GC (hosted by Toby Hornett of Crafty Counsel), what larger legal teams can teach smaller teams (hosted by TLD’s Sarah Clark) and how GCs should approach getting on their business’s Executive team and becoming an indispensable resource for CEOs (co-hosted by TLD’s Rachel Webb-Wiles, TLD’s Trudy Grey and Accutrainee’s Meera Ferguson).
The conference will be held at Holman Fenwick Willan’s offices in Bishopsgate, London and will be followed by a networking lunch.
