We’re delighted to welcome Sarah Davis to the TLD team.
Sarah is a highly experienced GC, businesswoman and NED with a pragmatic approach to securing commercially excellent results for values-driven organisations. She was at the Guardian for over 16 years, as Group Legal Director and then General Counsel, before joining ITV plc as Director Group Legal Affairs.
Sarah is recognised as an innovative legal leader who creates an inclusive culture and encourages continuous improvement supporting digital skills learning and personal and professional development. She works collaboratively with other C Suite colleagues to set clear strategic goals and deliver them, including organisational change, ESG strategies, corporate restructures and new business launches.
As well as her GC experience, Sarah has over 20 years non-executive board leadership experience, comprising corporate governance, change management, leadership succession and board development in the international development, humanitarian, arts and culture and tertiary education sectors. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Women’s Prize Trust, Vice Chair of UNICEF UK and a director of the International Catalogue Raisonne Association.
Away from work, Sarah is deeply interested in creative arts and culture, specifically women’s contemporary fiction and early Italian renaissance painting. She is also interested in classical history, particularly Etruscan and early Roman ceramics. And in her limited spare time, she enjoys swimming, dance and running.
