He was formerly group chief executive and managing partner of legal business, DWF Group plc, which during his 20-year tenure grew from two offices in the UK to 33 offices across four continents, and was the first law firm to float on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
This appointment supports the ambitious growth plans of The Legal Director, which has grown rapidly in recent years and now has 44 highly experienced lawyers working as part-time legal directors within small and medium-sized businesses.
This appointment also represents a broader and exciting partnership between The Legal Director and Andrew Leaitherland’s new business initiative, arch.law, a digital law firm that blends state-of-the-art technology with exceptional lawyers to deliver legal solutions to its clients.
