We are delighted to welcome a new member of TLD’s growing team – Katie Sandys-Renton.
Katie comes to us with a wealth of diverse experience supporting businesses, charities and local governments in a broad range of legal work. She has a wide range of commercial law experience, including commercial contracts, regulatory law, mergers & acquisitions and commercial property.
Katie loves getting to know businesses and working with them to find out their goals and appetite for risk. She enjoys working collaboratively with different teams and sharing knowledge. With this holistic approach and deep understanding of a business, she is better able to tailor her legal support to drive profit and promote growth.
Katie describes herself as “a doer” and is recognised by her colleagues as someone who overcomes hurdles and pushes projects through to completion. One of her proudest achievements is supporting a company through a period of rapid growth. The business grew 10% in two years, acquiring 20 new sites to operate from 130 locations and Katie credits her broad legal knowledge with helping her in this process.
Katie enjoys working with owner managed businesses and has a passion for educating directors to make the right decisions with full knowledge of inherent risks and opportunities. She joined TLD recognising that its service model gives her the best chance to support many different businesses, and to use her considerable skills for their benefit.
