It is with great pleasure that we welcome Charlie Strickland to The Legal Director Team!
Charlie has had an interesting and varied legal career, having worked on a wide range of projects, including large factory developments, wind turbine construction and building projects, as well as delicate negotiations with many of the largest Pharma, Tech and consumer care companies in the world. He has supported a range of businesses from multi-generationally owned family companies to fast-growing PLCs in technology, manufacturing and distribution.
Charlie has a broad commercial and corporate law background, with experience including, but not limited to, procurement, sales, distribution, agency, licensing, collaboration agreements, development agreements, joint ventures, research & development agreements and toll manufacturing globally. He also has significant company secretarial experience and is skilled at dealing with governance issues and shareholder agreements.
An energetic, responsive and pragmatic lawyer, Charlie enjoys building relationships and interacting with clients whilst delivering and contributing to their strategic goals. He particularly likes working directly with his clients’ teams to help them bring complex projects to successful conclusions and derives great satisfaction from ensuring the businesses he supports are well-protected and commercially secure.
Charlie joined TLD recognising the unique opportunities it offers for smaller businesses: “I like the idea of bridging the gap for clients who know they need good legal support but do not warrant the budget that a full-time and experienced lawyer may cost.
